Bin Rental Fees

A trucking fee of $150 will be charged within 50km of our location.  This will be taken off the proceeds.

Rental Notes:

  • Typical charge for general waste accepted at our transfer station:
    • Within Wellington County $110.00/ton (2,000 pounds)
    • Within Dufferin County $135.00/ton (2,000 pounds)
  • We will pay for your metals that are placed on top of each load (steel must be over 300lbs – All copper and alum will be paid)
  • Customary bin rental agreement is for 1 week (7 days) per bin.
  • $15.00 per additional day, up to a maximum of $200 per month, for days which exceed the 1 week (7 days)
  • These rates apply to Bin deliveries within a 25km radius. Additional mileage (25-50 km from SCS Metals) is billed at $6.00 per kilometer (one way). Drops for a distance farther than 50 km from SCS Metals will be done by quotation.
  • High volume contractors receive bins for a two (2) week period and a reduced tipping fee dependent on product.
